San Jose, Calif.—Cisco Systems this month introduced a contest as part of its “The Realm” campaign for security solutions, allowing users to create their own online comic episodes. “The Realm” online campaign, created by Ogilvy & Mather, Los Angeles, debuted in March.
Cisco is running online banner ads on sites including NetworkWorld.com and TechTarget.com, as well as social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, to promote the comic contest.
The ads drive users to a microsite at www.cisco.com/go/realm, where they can create their own comic episodes using superhero characters that fight against network security threats.
