Anti-Smoking Message From Children

Picture 9Kids are greatly affected by smoking. Using this insight the the Department of Health (London, England) has developed a anti-smoking campaign by highlighting concerns coming directly from affected children.

The digital campaign began September 14 and features video messages from children who would like their loved ones to stop smoking. Accompanying these online videos are television spots that will run during commercial breaks from popular shows. Here’s an example of a spot that will air during the very popular soap, “Coronation Street”:‘

“Hi Mum, I know you’re watching Coronation Street. I don’t want you to smoke because I don’t want you to go through what your mum went through. Because it will just make me really, really sad and because I don’t want you to die. I don’t know what I would do without you”.
